After declining several approaches earlier this season, Stan Leech has accepted a move to National League South side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Stan joined Newmarket Town at the start of the 2024/25 season from Cambridge City and finished that campaign with 11 goals from 36 appearances. This season, he has taken his form to another level, finding the net an impressive 25 times in just 26 games.

While we are naturally disappointed to lose a player of Stan’s quality, we are extremely proud to see his performances and achievements recognised. A footballer’s career is short, and opportunities such as this are difficult to turn down.
